Journal History

The Acta Polytechnica CTU Proceedings is a peer-reviewed Open Access serial focused on high quality proceedings from conferences organized or co-organized by the Czech Technical University in Prague. This edition first appeared in 1961, under the name “Proceedings of the Czech Technical University”. Five years later, in 1966, the focus and scope was changed and newly established journal, renamed to Acta Polytechnica, Journal of Advanced Engineering, started to publish not only selected conference papers, but mainly articles and reviews in the area of engineering, physics and mathematics.

Therefore, since the year 2014, the tradition of the edition of the Acta Polytechnica  CTU Proceedings, which complements the Acta Polytechnica, Journal of Advanced Engineering serial and serves as a platform for publishing interesting and innovative results of scientific conferences organized or co-organized by the CTU, has been renewed.
