Acta Polytechnica

ACTA POLYTECHNICA, Journal of Advanced Engineering, is a peer-reviewed Open Access scientific journal published by the Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague. It aims to be a high-quality, multi-disciplinary journal presenting both basic theoretical research and experimental research findings in the area of engineering, physics and mathematics.

The factors unifying the papers published in ACTA POLYTECHNICA should be their high level of interpretation, based on a sound scientific background.

The innovative research results published by young researchers or by postdoctoral fellows, and also the high-quality papers by researchers from the international scientific community, reflect the good position of CTU in the Word University Rankings.

As a scientific journal, published by one of the largest and oldest technical universities in Europe, Acta Polytechnica offers good publication practices both for authors and for reviewers (see the section on Policies). Starting with volume 51 (2011), Acta Polytechnica is indexed by Scopus database, DOAJ and since 2014 by Inspec database.
