One of the tools for meeting the EU’s climate goals is to replace the emission fleet at national level through a smart system of support and removal of barriers with a fleet structure dominated by zero-emission vehicles. The research is focused on identifying non-price barriers in order to find out what are the most important non-price barriers to faster/more dynamic development of electromobility, what policies the Czech Republic has in place to meet its climate goals in the transition to zero-emission mobility, and what is the degree of consistency between the applied policies and the identified barriers and whether there are or how significant regional disparities are from the perspective of households. The aim of the article is to introduce selected non-price barriers to the development of electromobility, to clarify how the barriers are perceived by residents and to define the differences according to the size of the municipality in which they live. The article does not address the economic and technical aspect or the meaningfulness of support for the development of electromobility.
