GAL (GIS or GRASS? Abstraction Layer) Framework is meant to be multiplatform OpenSource library with certain tools and subsidiary daemons for easy implementation of distributed modules for GIS GRASS in static or dynamic programming languages. This article aims to present some ideas behind this library and bait a fresh meat for this project since its complexity needs more spread development team not just single person.
