Based on an example project of a ground anchored pedestrian suspension bridge, the internal force in the construction process of the pedestrian suspension bridge is monitored and controlled, and the construction process of the pedestrian suspension bridge is calculated and analyzed by numerical simulation. The monitoring and control results show that the maximum difference of main girder is 0.7 cm, and the difference of main cable elevation is 0.6 cm. The theoretical maximum value of stress in the construction process of the structure is -2.4 MPa, the difference between the measured stress value and the theoretical stress value is very small, and the maximum difference between the theoretical value and the measured value is 0.3 MPa, and the stress state of the structure is good. The difference between the measured cable force and the designed cable force is only -1.4%, and the main tower is always in a safe state during the whole construction process. The monitoring and control results meet the requirements of the overall specification.
