Abstract

The cable-stayed Bridges built in the early days have some hidden dangers due to the corrosion of the cable and the looseness of the anchor. In this paper, the control process of cable replacement of pedestrian cable-stayed bridge is analyzed, the characteristics of different construction parameters in different construction stages are discussed, and the theoretical cable force value is compared with the measured cable force value by the finite element method. The results show that the error between the measured cable force and the theoretical cable force is within 2% of the standard requirement. The linear shape of the main beam has been greatly improved, with a maximum elevation of 4.9 cm, making pedestrians travel more comfortable. The maximum offset value of the main tower is 1.3 mm, which does not exceed the standard requirements when the construction starts and ends, and the cable replacement construction process meets the design requirements.
